Patagonia Run 2020

General Information

Patagonia Run Columbia Montrail has been posponed for 2021

Dear Patagonia Run Columbia Montrail family,
We have finally reached the deadline we imposed ourselves to make a final decision whether to hold or not Patagonia Run Columbia Montrail this year, moved by the hope that things would change and we would be able to carry out this very much expected event.
The epidemiologic situation is still complicated in our country. Our Argentinian and international runners cannot travel freely, San Martín de los Andes is still not open to tourism and its accommodation and restaurant facilities are not enough to welcome all our community of runners and families. All this makes it impossible to hold Patagonia Run 2020 on the planned dates.
Since finding a new date to reschedule during 2020 is not possible, we have decided to hold the race on April 9th and 10th 2021.
All runners registered for 2020 edition may transfer their registration, for the same distance, to editions 2021 or 2022, free of charge. Each runner will receive clear instructions for this via email soon.
Full 100% registration will also apply to those runners who had already chosen to transfer their registration to 2021/22/23 editions at 70% coverage. Therefore, the certificate issued is annulled.
If a runner opts for reimbursement of the registration fee, 70% of the amount paid will be refunded.
This decision to cancel Patagonia Run 2020 makes us very sad, but we understand it is the only one possible today.
We are very grateful for the support we have felt from most of you during these very difficult months, probably the hardest ever for many of us.
We will keep working towards an outstanding 2021 Patagonia Run Columbia Montrail, to make you feel that this two-year-wait has not been in vain.
We send all of you a warm hug from Patagonia. Let´s all keep taking care and training, hoping 2021 is a better year for everyone.
